OUR COMMITMENT

Since 2006, the GHM has been working to combine the reasons for good economy with those of the environment. It works to qualify the tourist offer and is constantly committed to reducing the environmental impact, with innovative strategies designed to bring well-being to the local community and to the planet.

The GHM has been part of Legambiente Turismo since 2006 and works in ‘protecting and preserving the globe and promoting sustainable practices’ in our sector. With our guests we share the same aim to protect Lake Maggiore and the planet and preserve it for future generations of travellers Our manager Mariangela Nieddu has been appointed Lago Maggiore Ambassador for direct contribution to the local economy and supporting local partners, who are likely to have more of a genuine, personal sense of responsibility for the land and culture they live and breathe.

When visiting Verbania, you can shop at local, independently run businesses and take advantage of visiting a less-touristy destination with a local guide.
