The Gardens of Villa Taranto

The most famous natural Eden in Europe

With a relaxing walk or bike ride from the Grand Hotel Majestic, guests have the opportunity of reaching the famous gardens of Villa Taranto to admire their stunning floral landscape.
The gardens of Villa Taranto inundate the view and the spirit with chromatic shades and perfumes of incredible floral varieties, luscious and dreamy embellishments, and fountains and statues that emerge through hundreds of glorious botanical creations. This extraordinary garden was planned and created by the Scottish captain Neil Mac Eachern who acquired the villa in 1931 with the exact intention of creating a temple dedicated to nature as an act of homage to his beloved Lago Maggiore.
